Financial Information
The actual cost of your orthodontic treatment may vary depending on the severity of your problems and the treatment selected. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before any treatment begins. You will not be pressured into making a decision. We will sit down, present and explain the fee to you at your initial consultation. While this fee is an estimate, it rarely varies.
Out of courtesy to our patients, we offer no-interest monthly payment plans and a family discount.
The fee covers the entire cost of the treatment, including placement of braces, adjustment appointments, removal of braces, any radiographs, impressions and photos, and retainers for each arch treated. You will not be charged more if treatment time takes longer than necessary. You will not be charged more if you need more visits than necessary. However, if progress is fast and the treatment is completed sooner than expected, you are expected to fulfill the terms of your financial arrangements and contract.
At the Initial Exam, treatment options will be discussed and the treatment fee will be provided. After you decide to proceed with orthodontic treatment, payments are required at the following stages of treatment:
- Records appointment which includes two x-rays and obtaining study models of your teeth.
- Consultation appointment in which the treatment plan is reviewed, questions answered and office documents signed.
- Monthly payments during treatment which is typically 12 to 24 months in length (no interest or financing charges are applied)
If you decide to pay the orthodontic fee in full at the beginning of treatment, please be aware that your insurance carrier will not reimburse you in one lump sum. Instead, we will provide you with monthly receipts to get reimbursed by your insurance company on a monthly basis.
